After such a rough experience with another builder, my wife and I did not think we were ever going to see the home of our dreams. That was until we met with Oak Creek Homes of Westwego, LA.

When we started the process of building a home, we got involved with a builder that just wanted our money.  My wife and I had spent a ton of precious time planning and designing the home that our family was now going to live in. Living in a brand new home that we had worked for, was our dream. The builder that we selected gave us all sorts of promises right away. We were feeling pretty confident. All we ever heard from these dubious builders was, "Of course we can do that." and "We think this project is great. Anything you want!" .

After countless phone calls and design meetings, they could never seem to be able to put our vision of a safe and secure home into real building plans. Not knowing any better, we figured that this was how the ‘building process’ was and stuck with them, though we were having our doubts. They seemed to always want to know about getting a quick payment even though we still didn’t have our home plans. By the time we figured out that these were not the people who could deliver our dream home, we found out that we were stuck behind lots of red tape. We had signed papers with this builder. To our amazement, only one phone call to our lender led us to what was the best building experience that we could have imagined. Our lender was very understanding of our dilemma and really wanted to see us in the home that we had envisioned. He gave us the names of 3 builders in the area. Only one called us before we had a chance to call them. Oak Creek Homes. From the moment we spoke with Oak Creek, we could tell that this was different. The Quality is AMAZING! We are the envy of our neighborhood.  People are stunned when they find out that this is a "modular" home. Perception is way off on the quality of modular homes. We feel that our family is comfortable, safe and secure. The kids love their rooms and we love the space and attention to detail that Oak Creek has demonstrated. Our reps gave us concise and clear explanations of what they could and could not do. They stayed in touch with us through out the process to keep us up to date on the progress and set measurable and realistic expectations.

Once we were in our home, we could not believe the quality. Each and every room is exactly how we had planned it. From the windows to the closets. Oak Creek did not miss a single detail. From the day we signed and even after we moved in, they were constantly in touch with us to monitor our our satisfaction.
